It's not a party...

without Sausage Wontons! In anticipation for our Friday night Soiree I thought I would share Sue's fabulous sausage wonton recipe. Mom is coming over tomorrow morning to make a bunch to freeze for the party. These are so tasty...

Sausage Wonton's by Sue

1 1/2 lbs. sausage, browned and drained

1 pkg. wonton wrappers (produce section)

1/2 C. chopped jalapeno olives

1/2 C. chopped red pepper

1 C. shredded cheddar

1 C. monterey jack

1/2 C. ranch dressing (or enough to moisten)

Put wontons in mini-muffin tins to form a pinwheel. Fill with sausage mix. Freeze or bake at 350 for about 10 minutes.

And since I have so many pictures to share - here's one of Lucy eating watermelon. It doesn't perfectly tie into my post - but she's eating something! :)

question...what do you mean by form a pinwheel? Won't they just come out after you bake them?

I think forming a pinwheel just means all four corners are pointing out of the muffin tin. You don't pinch them closed or anything. :) Enjoy - they're really awesome.

Megan -- have I had these before? Gawd, they sound fantastic! Is this soiree in honor of the 'Lil Peanut's 1st Birthday?
